Invented by Mauro Ginevri, the Avalon Permit Fly was created to do just that: target one of the most fickle, selective fish known to flyfishermankind. The Avalon was designed to imitate the resident shrimp that are commonly eaten by permit off the coast of Cuba, but will produce fish in saltwater environments all over the world.
