Getting to the Lodge:
To reach Abaco Lodge, guests need to arrange travel to Leonard M. Thompson International Airport (MHH), located on Great Abaco Island in the town of Marsh Harbour. Guests can connect to Marsh Harbour through numerous US hubs or connect through Nassau (NAS). Flight options can be found below.
Arrival Day:
Guests are welcome to arrive in Marsh Harbour anytime on the day they are scheduled to arrive at the lodge. Most guests typically arrive in the afternoon.
Departure Day:
Guests are encouraged to depart Marsh Harbour prior to 11am, allowing time for the lodge staff to turn over the rooms.
Flight Options:
Unlike the majority of the other Bahamian Islands, it is possible to fly directly to Marsh Harbour (MHH) from the US mainland. Numerous flights are also offered connecting via Nassau (NAS).

Numerous US based airlines offer direct service into Marsh Harbour (MHH) from major east coast hubs.
American Airlines
Offers daily direct flights from Miami and occasional direct flights from Charlotte. Check availability on American Airlines webpage.
Delta Airlines
Delta offers daily direct flights from their main hub, Atlanta. Please check availability on Delta Airlines webpage.
United Airlines
Seasonal direct flights from Newark have flown direct into Marsh Harbour. Inquire with United Airlines for availability.
Western Air

Western Air offers flights from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Nassau (NAS) daily. Flights from Nassau to Marsh Harbour (MHH) operate every day of the week. Please check their website for availability and allow extra time to clear US Customs in Nassau.
Note: Western Air accepts credit cards and cash for payment. When checking in with Western Air in Nassau (if booked over the phone), you will need cash or a valid credit card to pay for your round-trip ticket.

To enter the Bahamas, all guests are required to have the following:

Visas are not required for US or UK passengers. Guests from other
nationalities should check with their local consulate for entry
requirements. - Departure Tax: A Bahamian
departure tax of approximately $15 is due on departure. This tax may
already be included in your airline ticket price.
Currency:
US dollars (USD) may be used freely for the purchase of goods and services; therefore, no money conversion is needed. It is very important that all anglers arriving on Andros come prepared with enough cash for their entire stay, as banking and cash acquisition is a major challenge on the island.
