With Christmas just a few days away, hopefully your gifts are wrapped, and you are ready to relax and enjoy the holidays with friends and family.
This week, instead of sharing another gift guide or adding yet another holiday sale to your cluttered email inbox, we thought we’d highlight some of our free fly tying resources.
Whether you or someone you know is new to fly tying – or perhaps you’re looking to improve your skills or just find some good information – we are here to help.
Take advantage of these free resources:
1. Our Knowledgeable Team of Fly Tyers
First and most importantly, our friendly team is here to help! In fact, did you know that we have three Umpqua Signature Tyers on staff here at Anglers All? Ben Baxter, Daryl Eakins and Delaney Chapman are all on the Umpqua Signature roster. And even beyond those three, we have a number of dedicated and knowledgable tyers on staff.
If you live in the Denver area or along the Front Range, stop by the fly shop anytime for help and advice. If you’re not local, give us a call at 303-794-1104 and we’ll be glad to give you the same friendly help over the phone.
And don’t worry – there are no dumb questions when it comes to fly tying. Fly tying materials and tools can easily become confusing. We get that. So please don’t hesitate to ask for help.
2. Fly Tying Video Catalog
Over the years, we have developed a robust catalog of fly tying videos. Currently, we have more than 120 videos available! Most of these are long-format videos, that show fly patterns and techniques in clear detail.
Check out the Fly Tying Video Catalog on our website, where the videos are organized by category and alphabetized for easy searching. Video categories include Nymphs & Wet Flies, Dry Flies, Streamers, Saltwater, and Tips & Tricks.
We are constantly adding new videos to the library. Be sure to visit the Anglers All YouTube Channel. Click the Subscribe button, and hit the little bell icon to turn on notifications. That way, you’ll be the first to know when new videos become available.
